Future Projects Media is a full spectrum production company with a focus on audio.
Our goal is to push the boundaries of what multimedia can do—we believe it can encompass radio, podcasting, and video, as well as analog technology, events, illustrations, food, interactive audio tours, augmented reality, and more.
Founded by veteran public media producers Josephine Holtzman and Isaac Kestenbaum, Future Projects Media offers consulting and production services for select partners.
Josie is a multi-platform storyteller, composer and journalist. She is former producer for NPR's pioneering Jazz Night in America and WNPR's Where We Live. She holds a B.A. in American Studies from Vassar College and an M.A. in Media Studies from The New School. She also studied radio at the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies.
Isaac is an audio producer, designer and journalist. He is the former Production Manager at StoryCorps, where he won a Peabody Award and a duPont Award. He recently produced the podcast The Fix for the GroundTruth Project. He has also worked as a commercial lobsterman.
